About That One-Eyed Cat --

Caesar!

Editing!

On the Prowl!

Three years ago, Susan, noticed a dark spot in Caesar’s left eye. The diagnosis was cancer and to save Caesar’s sight, the eye had to be removed. The loss of one eye hasn’t phased Caesar one bit. He still does all his ‘cat things’, jumping on top of furniture, hopping in boxes, suddenly dashing from one spot to the next. His courage and resilience in overcoming his handicap has been a great inspiration to Susan during troubling times in her life.

Susan found Caesar in the Dallas SPCA shelter when he was a kitten. As she was looking in a pen of kittens available for adoption, he walked over to the door to the pen and put his paw on the door right in front of Susan’s nose. It was love at first sight.

That was five years ago, and he and Susan have been best buds ever since, but he never liked Susan’s ex-husband Terry McCauley. Caesar tolerated him around the house, but would hiss and try to bite Terry if he tried to pick him up. Susan says Caesar has much better judgment than she, when it comes to men.
